The Neighbourhood

Cardiff House is located right in the heart of the City Centre right next to the iconic Millennium Stadium, Angel Hotel, Castle and Cardiff Arms Park. Cardiff is emerging in the new millennium as one of Britain’s leading urban centres. Spread between an ancient fort and an ultramodern waterfront, compact Cardiff seems to have surprised even itself with how interesting it has become.

Nowhere is this vitality more evident than in Cardiff’s buildings – it flexes newly acquired architectural muscles as if it’s still astonished to have them. Such confidence is infectious, and these days it’s not just the rugby that draws crowds into the city. Come the weekend, a buzz reverberates through the streets as swarms of shoppers hit the Hayes, followed by waves of revellers descending on the capital’s thriving pubs, bars and live-music venues. Cardiff also makes an excellent base for day trips to the surrounding valleys and coast, where you’ll find castles, beaches, interesting industrial sites and ancient monuments.

Getting Around

Cardiff House is about 400 metres away from Cardiff Central Train and Bus Station. There are regular buses to the bay within 50 metres of the house and a water taxi stop is less that 250 metres away in Bute Park which can take you to Cardiff Bay in style.

A Few House Rules

  • No smoking, parties, or events
  • Check-in is anytime after 3PM and check out by 11AM
  • Self check-in with smart lock
  • No parking on property – There are numerous car parks near to the property. Please contact for long stay options.
  • Potential for noise – Double or triple glazing throughout, but on major event days the city can be noisy.
  • Must climb stairs – Cardiff House is set over four floors and has an amazing, but high staircase.
  • Security Deposit – if you damage the home, you may be charged up to £200
  • Surveillance or recording devices on property – Surveillance on front door and rear fire exit door only for security.

Cancellations

  • Strict · Free cancellation for 48 hours. After that, cancel up to 7 days before check-in and get a 45% refund, minus the service fee.
  • Reservation confirmed – Full refund if check-in is at least 14 days away.
  • 48 hours later – 50% refund, minus the service fee.
  • 7 days before check-in – Refund of cleaning fee only

Cancellations

  • Strict cancellation policy

  • All deposits and agreed staged payments are non-refundable once paid

  • In the event of a Major Event being announced between the time of booking and the scheduled stay, Cardiff City House Ltd, trading as Plymouth Chambers, may cancel the booking up to one month prior to the stay subject to paying a full refund of the deposit and staged payments made.
